Cotswold House is our specialist adult eating disorder service. We commission two modern units, one in Oxford and the other in Marlborough. Care at these units is provided by Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust, overseen by us.
Inpatient and day patient treatment programmes are run in both units by a multidisciplinary team. The team includes a consultant psychiatrist and junior doctors, clinical psychologists, nurses, healthcare assistants, dieticians, occupational therapists, a social worker and a family therapist. They will work with each patient to understand the most suitable care for their individual needs.
Outpatient services are provided in locations across the counties of Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Wiltshire.
A key benefit of our service is that local patients can easily switch between inpatient, day patient, and outpatient care while staying with the same therapist and treatment team.
Referrals can only be made by a patient’s Adult Community Eating Disorder Service (ACEDS). They are specifically for patients in Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire. Where bed availability allows, we do accept referrals from across the country.
